Considering an Acne Paid Study?

If you participate in one of our “acne paid studies” we compensate you for time and travel. The pharmaceutical companies applying for FDA approval for their product bear all of the expenses.

How Much Will I get paid for acne studies?

It depends on how many visits to the clinic and how much time you spend with us. In some studies you may get $50 a visit for 10 visits over time. Or you may get more if we need more of your time. We always let you know about payment and other details up front — that’s called “informed consent” — and follow strict ethics rules in how we recruit and pay our volunteers.

Are your acne clinical trials registered with the FDA?

Yes! All of our clinical trials are registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and listed on ClinicalTrials.gov.

Is there a charge for anything that’s a part of the clinical trial?

No. We never charge our clinical trial volunteers for anything that’s part of our studies. The pharmaceutical companies that sponsor our studies pay for all medicines, tests, office visits and anything else that the study includes
